The Accounting Department

The Accounting department is based in Mammoth Hot Springs and has department staff at each village, or location around Yellowstone National Park.
 

Most positions require some experience in bookkeeping and cash handling.  Some positions require travel around the park.

Audit Clerk

The Audit Clerk supports and assists the Location Controller and Assistant Location Controller in all aspects of location accounting responsibilities.

Location Controller

The Location Controller is expected to manage the location accounting operation, ensuring accurate reporting of sales revenue, security of location monetary assets, and the supervision of location accounting personnel.
The uniform standard for this position is business casual. No jeans or shorts while on duty. The company does not provide uniform clothing for this position. more

Night Auditor

The Night Auditor supports the location accounting department by compiling and summarizing the location's daily sales. The responsibilities of the Night Auditor are important to ensure the smooth running of the location accounting department. The Night Auditor generally works in the middle of the night, without direct supervision at location.

Relief Night Auditor

Relief Night Auditor positions perform night audit duties in multiple locations around Yellowstone National Park, working during that location Night Auditor's weekly time off.

Accounting Clerk

The primary responsibility of an Accounting Clerk is to assist in the daily operation of the department they are assigned to in the General Accounting Office (GAO) for Xanterra Parks & Resorts in Yellowstone.
