Campground Guest Service Agent
Campground Guest Service Agent
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
Reports to the Campground Manager, Campground Office Manager, and Senior GSAs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Campground Guest Service Agent’s (GSA) primary responsibility is to welcome and register guests to the campsite as closely suited to their needs as possible under the direction of the Campground Manager, Campground Office Manager and/or Senior GSAs. Responsibilities include:
- Provide professional and courteous service to Yellowstone guests.
- Complete the computer registration process efficiently with minimum delay to guests.
- Appropriate assignment and reassignment of campsites or RV sites to guests.
- Resolve any site discrepancies.
- Promote and sell park activities and lodging.
- Acquaint guests with the campground, basic rules, and services in the area.
- Operate computer and provide accurate accounting.
- Maintain a proper bank, provide accurate handling of monies, and prepare accurate remits.
- Promote and educate guests on environmental & recycling policies and procedures.
- Maintain daily communication shift logs.
- Understand and adhere to Lodging Department and Company policies and procedures.
- Assure a safe environment for guests and employees.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers.
- Maintain good working relationship with the National Park Service personnel.
- Custodial and/or grounds keeping duties when necessary.
- Assist other departments as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to learn technical aspects of the registration process, including computer operation.
- Ability to work thoroughly and quickly while under pressure.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Knowledge of Yellowstone facilities, activities, features and area services.
- Knowledge of Company policies and procedures.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Must be flexible and open to changes in procedures.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Standing for up to 8 hours per shift.
- Walking, bending and lifting. Could total up to 4 hours per shift.
AUTHORITIES:
- To take necessary steps to ensure excellent guest service.
- To respond immediately to any unsafe condition.
