FAST FOOD CREW
About the Job:
Hungry Visitors!...That's what you find in the "fast food" grills located around Yellowstone. Your job is to make sure that they receive delicious, fresh food...fast! The Fast Food Crew is a busy and organized team...some members prep and cook food, some members ring in orders and make sure guests receive proper food orders at the service counter.
Fast Food Crew wears uniforms provided by the company. Employees must bring their own leather, closed-toe, non-skid shoes.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports directly to Manager, Shift Supervisor, or Shift Lead on duty.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide excellent guest service in an efficient manner.
- Maintain appearance and uniform standards.
- Develop and maintain positive communication and teamwork with all co-workers and supervisors.
- Conducts themselves in a professional manner with the awareness that most actions and communications are within guest view. Ensure a congenial atmosphere for all.
- Handle all service issues in an immediate and professional manner.
- Be knowledgeable of all menu items, specials and item specifications, and adhere to those specifications.
- Maximize sales by using menu knowledge and suggestive selling techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness of the preparation, service and dining areas.
- Complete assigned duties within each shift.
- Follow established food preparation and sanitation procedures.
- May be responsible for collecting accurate payment from the guest, securely handling and balancing a cash bank, processing all forms of payment and accurately depositing all sales.
- Follow Company and departmental environmental practices to minimize wasted energy and resources.
- Follow Company and departmental safety practices to minimize risk to self and others.
- Follow Company and departmental policies and procedures. Hold crew members accountable for the same.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Ability to retain large amounts of information.
- Ability to work on your feet for at least an eight hour period of time.
- Ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to read recipes, specs, schedules, job duties, safety information and cash register receipts.
- Knowledge of point-of-sale systems and cashier banking procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers.
- Ability to work in areas with temperatures in excess of 100 degrees(f).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, approximately 8 hours.
- Must be able to walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Bending and kneeling, stretching and reaching for extended periods of time.
- Working with required chemicals.
AUTHORITIES:
To respond immediately and professionally to guest service and product issues
and report the situation to the Manager or Supervisor on duty.
