Joining the Food & Beverage Department means being part of a team that creates and serves food in one of many food outlets around the park.
We hire more than 1,000 people each season to work in our formal dining rooms, fast food outlets, delis and cafeterias.

We also hire interns that may gain knowledge in the Hospitality and Culinary industries while working in one of the most amazing places on the planet!
The Food & Beverage Department is home to the Yellowstone Chapter of the American Culinary Federation. Not just a great opportunity for those already part of the culinary world, those who wish to have a career in food can apply to become part of the AFC Apprenticeship Program. Graduates earn certification from experienced Chefs while living and working in the park. Cool!

Bar Lead
The Bar Lead is a bartender and more! This position combines bartending responsibilities with supervisory and daily administrative duties. The Bar Lead is responsible for providing great guest service while overseeing all facets of the bar's operation.

Barista
The Barista position requires a combination of skills that include great guest service and the ability to make a good latte! Hot beverages, including cappuccino, lattes and espresso, are prepared using our sophisticated coffee machines. Baristas in some locations also serve alcoholic beverages and must be age 21 or older.

Cocktail Server
Cocktail Servers offer our guests alcoholic beverages and appetizers in one of our many lounges or bars. Cocktail servers must have some experience and be 21 years old or older. more
Cook
Cook positions are available in our fine dining rooms, cafeterias, and employee dining rooms. Job duties of the position vary by location and function. Applicants are hired and placed according to their skill level. more
Dining Room Host
Hosts set the tone for our guest's dining experience. Whether it is taking a dinner reservation over the phone or greeting guests in person, first impressions count. more
Dining Room Manager
Dining Room Managers oversee the daily operations in one of our five Dining Rooms around Yellowstone. Managers not only produce schedules, oversee training for their seasonal staff and compile revenue and budget reports. They may find themselves busing a table, serving a salad, restocking bread stations or seating a table during service hours! more
Dining Room Server
Dining Room Servers work with our Hosts and Server Assistants to provide Park visitors with great dining experiences in our full service dining rooms. Prompt attention, a warm welcome, informative explanations of the menu options, and professional meal service are the basics of the position. Answering guest questions, directing guests to resources available to them, and sharing their own enthusiasm and knowledge of the Park take our service to the next level of excellence. Previous experience is required for this position. more
Server Assistant
Server Assistants help guests, servers and hosts in our dining rooms by clearing, cleaning and resetting tables and keeping beverage glasses filled. And, as with all of our front of the house staff, Server Assistants answer guests' questions, listen to stories of adventure and share their own enthusiasm for the Park. more
Employee Dining Room Crew
Employee Dining Room Crew serve their fellow employees in employee dining rooms. The Employee Dining Room (EDR) team is directly responsible for making sure that the staff on location is served good, fresh food with courtesy and a smile. EDR Crew stock and prepare food service areas, stock clean dinner ware and remove it when dirty. The staff does not generally prepare or cook hot dishes, but may be called upon to help occasionally. more

Fast Food Crew
Hungry Visitors!...That's what you find in the "fast food" grills located around Yellowstone. Your job is to make sure that they receive delicious, fresh food...fast! The Fast Food Crew is a busy and organized team...some members prep and cook food, some members ring in orders and make sure guests receive proper food orders at the service counter.

Fast Food/Snack Shop Supervisor
Snack Shop and Fast Food Supervisors multitask! Responsible for the daily operations in one of Xanterra's seven outlets, supervisors are responsible for great guest service that includes good food served hot and fast, staff schedules and generating revenue and budget reports. Supervisors may also find themselves flipping burgers, restocking beverages and busing tables! more
Food & Beverage Office Assistant
Keeps the operation going behind the scenes! This position is responsible for many of the daily administrative duties for the Food & Beverage office on location, including employee payroll and sales reports. more

Pantry Supervisor
Pantry Supervisor heads up the team that prepares most cold food items offered to guests in our dining facilities. This position requires previous experience working with food preparation and supervising food and beverage teams. more
Pubtender
Serving our "internal guests" is an important job in Yellowstone! The Employee Pubtender serves food and drinks to employees on location at the Employee Pub. Pubtenders must have some bartending experience and the ability to prepare and serve simple food items. All employees serving alcohol must be 21 years old or older. more
Store Keeper
Storekeepers keep our kitchen stocked with all the ingredients needed to make great meals for our guests and employees. more
Warehouse Help
Warehouse Help staff work "behind the scenes" to ensure the property is supplied with food and the staple goods needed to feed and lodge guests and employees. This position is physically demanding! Warehouse staff unload trucks, stock the warehouse with dry goods, produce and frozen foods, take inventory and deliver orders to departments on location. more
OFI Warehouse Driver
Old Faithful Warehouse drivers really deliver!
This position is responsible for the safe operation of company vehicles to deliver food and supply items to guest facilities located in the Old Faithful and Grant Village areas.
Qualified drivers must be at least 20 years old, have a valid drivers license and be able to pass a DOT physical. more
Warehouse Manager
Warehouse Managers wear all the hats! Supervision of staff, inventory control and budgets, attention to detail in safe storage processes and driving and unloading. You never know what each day will bring! This is a busy... and interesting job. more
