About the Job...
A Linen Supply Agent keeps the location Housekeeping Department supplied with clean linens and supplies for our guest facilities, as well as ensuring that soiled linens are returned to the central laundry facility, and that daily inventories are completed.
Housekeeping Linen Supply Agent wear uniforms provided by the company. Employees must provide leather, close-toed shoes.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports directly to the Housekeeping Manager/Assistant Housekeeping Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide our guests with the best in service, courtesy, and care.
- Comply with Housekeeping policies and procedures.
- Comply with all traffic and safety laws when operating company vehicles.
- Comply with Ecologix environmental policies and procedures.
- Work safely to avoid injuries and accidents, including wearing the proper Personal Protective Equipment.
- Report unsafe conditions and maintenance concerns to the Manager.
- Assist with maintaining linen room cleanliness.
- Complete daily linen counts accurately.
- Work efficiently to ensure clean linens are picked up and distributed to designated areas.
- Wear the proper Personal Protective Equipment while retrieving and sorting dirty linen.
- Distribute supplies to designated areas.
- Ensure daily maintenance and safety checks are completed on the company vehicle.
- Maintain company vehicle cleanliness.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Must have valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Must be 19 years of age or older (21+ for MH, OFI, RL).
- Organizational skills.
- Capable of self-supervision.
- Ability to follow directions accurately.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Stretching, walking, lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs., bending, kneeling climbing up and down stairs and ramps for up to 7-8 hours per shift.
- Making beds, stripping rooms, cleaning toilets for up to 3 hours per shift.
- Completing a list of 14-18 rooms.
- The ability to push or pull bins weighing 50-200 lbs. on an everyday basis.
- Passing a DOT physical (MH, OFI).
AUTHORITIES:
To take necessary steps to ensure excellent guest service.
To respond immediately to any unsafe condition.
