Painter

About the Job...

The Painter is responsible for the repair and upkeep of painted, stained and varnished surfaces and areas around the park.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare surfaces to be painted, stained, varnished, etc using correct materials required for the job completion.
• Accountable for materials used and ordering of items needed for job completion or inventory replacement per established Company procedure.
• Does non-related job tasks when necessary.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Collect materials, equipment and paint for designated surfaces.
• Be able to work from ladders and scaffolding.
• Skilled in use of tools common to the trade.
• This position will require the use of respiratory protection. OSHA standards require a clean-shaven face and a medical screening.
• Comply with all current related safety and health requirements.
• Able to read, understand and comply with all current Company policies and procedures.
• Must possess physical stamina and condition to withstand heavy labor related work in an outside environment.
• Must be capable of lifting objects weighing up to 70 pounds.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.

AUTHORITIES:

Work with maintenance and location personnel.
