Welcome To The Accounting Department!

The Accounting Department is at the heart of operations in Yellowstone National Park. Responsibilities such as making sure each location operates smoothly, compiling reports for our corporate office, and working with guests and employees make these positions vital.

The Accounting Department has several positions available each summer season. Many of these jobs are located at one of seven locations in the park's interior. A few positions require travel and overnight stays around Yellowstone. The Night Auditor and Relief Night Auditor positions require overnight (graveyard) shifts and are great jobs for those "night owls" of the accounting world!

Although not all Accounting Department positions require previous experience, applicants must have an understanding of basic accounting principles and have previous cash-handling experience for any of the jobs available this season. All Accounting Department positions have not been posted on this website. There are some seasonal and year-round positions in our General Accounting Office which are often advertised to current Accounting staff and hired from within. Room for advancement is always possible for those who show themselves to be great employees.

Dress standards for Location Controller/Assistant positions are business casual. No jeans, shorts, T-Shirts or sandals (other than dress leather) are to be worn while on duty. The company provides uniform clothing for Audit Clerk and Night Auditor positions.
