Fast Food Crew...
Hungry Visitors!...That's what you find in the "fast food" grills located around Yellowstone. Your job is to make sure that they receive delicious, fresh food...fast! The Fast Food Crew is a busy and organized team...some members prep and cook food, some members ring in orders and make sure guests receive proper food orders at the service counter.


REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports to the Manager, Shift Supervisor or Shift Lead on duty.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide excellent guest service in an efficient manner.
  • Develop and promote a teamwork attitude with all co-workers.
  • Maintain open and positive communication with supervisors and co-workers.
  • Conduct yourself in a professional manner with the awareness that all actions and communications
        are/may be within guest view.
  • Greet guests and handle all service issues in an immediate and gracious manner.
  • Be knowledgeable of all menu items, specials and item specification, and adhere to those specifications.
  • Practice suggestive selling and up selling.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the preparation, service and dining areas.
  • Complete duties assigned during each shift.
  • Report to work when scheduled in a clean, neat uniform, meeting all grooming and appearance standards.
  • Follow the correct food preparation, and sanitation procedures.
  • Approach all situations at work in a safe and positive manner, promoting an enjoyable work experience.
  • Follow company and departmental environmental practices to minimize wasted energy and resources.
  • May be responsible for secure handling and balancing of an assigned cash bank.

    SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Ability to retain large amounts of information.
  • Ability to work on your feet for at least eight (8) hours per day.
  • Ability to read recipes, specifications, schedules, job duties, safety
        information and cash register receipts.
  • Ability to operate a cash register or Point Of Sale system and count change.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers.
  • Ability to work in areas with temperatures in excess of 100 degrees.
  • Ability to read, speak and understand the English language.
  • Physical requirements include:
        Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
        Able to carry heavy and hot food containers
        Able to work with and use various kitchen instruments and equipment
        Able to stand on feet for at least eight (8) hours each day
        Bending and kneeling
        Stretching and reaching
        Working with required chemicals
