About the Job...

The Furniture Mover is responsible for loading, handling, transporting and unloading all furniture, fixtures and equipment used throughout the Park.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:

Reports to the Manager, Support Services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for loading, handling, transporting and unloading all furniture, fixtures and equipment used throughout the Park.
  • Responsible for loading and transporting discarded items to landfill outside the Park.
  • Responsible for loading, transporting, unloading and setting up of banquet equipment Parkwide for groups and special functions.
  • Responsible for the safe operation of Company assigned vehicles and the maintaining of  appearance and fluid levels of vehicles.
  • Responsible for completing all assigned tasks with minimum supervision.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Must be capable of loading, handling, transporting and unloading all furniture, fixtures and equipment in a safe, efficient manner.
  • Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
  • A thorough knowledge of Park and concession-operated locations including buildings and dorms would be beneficial.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to set up banquet equipment in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Must be capable of lifting objects weighing up to 70 pounds.
  • Must be capable of driving 34,000 GVW vehicle on narrow mountain roads.
