About the Job...
A House Person makes sure the public areas and restrooms
in our hotels and lodges are clean and comfortable! Their job is to make the first
impression...the best impression!
House Persons wear uniforms provided by the company. Employees must provide close-toed shoes.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports to the Assistant Housekeeping Manager or the Housekeeping Manager


RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure that our guests receive the utmost in
service and courtesy!
Clean and prepare public areas and restrooms assigned to
Housekeeping Department as trained.
Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning supplies,
equipment use and cleaning routines.
Follow the work shift schedule in a thorough and timely manner.
Complete special projects promptly when assigned.
Learn and follow established Housekeeping policies
and procedures.
Assist in other housekeeping duties when assigned by
the Housekeeping Manager.
Report maintenance, safety and any hazardous conditions
to the Housekeeping Manager.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Organizational skills
Ability to follow instructions accurately
Capable of self supervision
Physical requirements include:
Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Standing for long periods of time
Bending and kneeling
Stretching and reaching
Frequent lifting and carrying of supplies and equipment
Pushing a hotel cart or cabin cart up to 75-100 pounds
Frequent walking up and down staircases
Working with required chemicals and equipment
