About the Job...

Vending Drivers Transport snacks and drinks to, and restock, vending machines around Yellowstone National Park. This position includes daily operation of a step-on truck in the park, maintenance of vending machines and repeated heavy lifting.
Vending Drivers wear uniforms provided by the company. Employees must bring their own leather, close-toed, non-skid shoes.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:

Reports to the Vending Manager and receives direction from the Vending Clerk as given by the Vending Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The safe operation and maintenance of company vehicles.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and proper working order of vending machines and company vehicle
  • for specific route assigned. Report problems to Vending Manager.
  • Place product in vending machines as warranted.
  • Collect receipts from vending machines where product is added, record those transactions
  • and turn receipts into Mammoth Cashier's office.
  • restock vending truck from warehouse when product is depleted, record transactions on
  • warehouse issue sheet and help clean and organize warehouse.
  • Provide professional and courteous service to park visitors and employees.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Basic mechanical skills.
  • Basic accounting skills.
  • Ability to manage and control inventory.
  • General knowledge of Yellowstone National Park.
  • DOT physical card or certificate.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Frequent standing, walking, sitting and reaching outward and above the shoulder for up to 5 hours per shift.
  • Requires occasional climbing, crawling, and squatting/kneeling; could total up to two and a half hours per day.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • Must be able to push or pull items weighing up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis.
